Honda Indy Exhibition at Dundas Square
There are lots of promotions happening for this year’s Honda Indy in Toronto (formerly known as the Molson Indy). At Dundas Square, people can get up close to the race cars and try out the race car simulation games. For a $1 donation to the Make a Wish Canada, people can also take the Honda Pit Stop Challenge to see how fast they can change the tires. Today’s record time was 6.83 seconds which is pretty impressive.

It was also a great opportunity to check out the soon-to-be-released Honda CR-Z hybrid coupe. According to the event staff, the sporty two-seater starts at around $20,000s U.S. in the states, which is very reasonable for a hybrid. If the price is right for Canada, the Honda CR-Z may become a best-seller hybrid and a popular tuner car.

This upcoming Honda CR-Z hybrid already has an Ontario license plate.

At the downtown Bay store, race car drivers Paul Tracy, Alex Tagliani, and James Hinchcliffe were busy signing autographs. There were also some Indycar items on display at the Bay downtown, although there were a lot less people there compared to the Dundas Square event.
